Peter & Paul - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Greece, New York

“Please don’t leave us again.”

This is the face we see whenever it’s time to leave Peter and Paul.

These sweet senior brothers were adopted as kittens and spent nearly ten years together in a loving home. Then their beloved owner died—and, from their point of view, she simply disappeared.

Peter and Paul remained alone in the home afterward. Family members stopped by to feed them, but the boys were frightened, confused and lonely. Eventually, they were returned to our rescue and are now staying at Pet Supplies Plus in Webster Baytowne.

Our volunteers adore them and spend as much time with them as we can. But when someone turns to leave, one or both brothers will stand behind the closed gate and watch with the saddest eyes.

It breaks our hearts every single time.

They have already lost their person and the only home they knew. They deserve to feel safe and settled again—to have someone who comes home to them, stays beside them and promises that they will never be left wondering where their person went.

Peter and Paul are approximately 10 years old and are very sweet boys. If you have room in your heart and home for two loving senior companions who are simply down on their luck, please consider giving these brothers the forever home they so desperately need.
