Foster insights/backstory:
Weezer’s life started with unimaginable hardship — but her story is not about what happened to her. It’s about how she refused to give up.
She was found alone after being hit by a car, unable to walk and barely holding on. Even then, she fought. To save her life, her leg had to be amputated. During recovery, it was discovered her remaining hip was also injured, leading to a second major surgery. There were moments where survival felt uncertain… and even after that, the question remained — would she ever walk again?
Weezer answered that question herself.
Today, she is walking, thriving, and embracing life with a quiet strength that stops you in your tracks. She doesn’t just get through the day — she enjoys it. She plays, explores, and soaks up every bit of love she can get. She is incredibly sweet, deeply loyal, and forms a strong bond with her person. Weezer loves to be close — your shadow, your quiet companion, your biggest little fan. She has a gentle, soulful presence that makes people fall for her instantly.
And then there’s her playful, goofy side — especially when water is involved. Weezer loves bath time. Leave the shower open and she’ll happily hop in like she’s been invited, often trying to drink the water mid-shower. It’s one of her many endearing quirks that will keep you smiling every single day. She is naturally protective in a loving, devoted way — not aggressive, just deeply connected to her person.
Weezer will need a home that understands her journey and continues to support her as she builds strength, but she has already proven she is capable of incredible things.
She is not defined by what she’s lost — she is defined by everything she’s overcome.
Weezer isn’t just looking for a home.
She’s looking for her person — someone who will see her strength, her heart, and the beautiful life she still has ahead of her.
