She's the perfect mix of salty and sweet! Meet Nutter Butter, a 9-week-old Mountain Cur mix, weighing 5 pounds (as of 10/18/26). This poor puppy was dumped outside someone's door in Tennessee which is no place for such a sweetie! She hopes to find her fur-ever home with you!
This girl lives life like she's on a sugar rush! Nutter Butter has so much spirit and enjoys playing with other dogs and even strangers. It's no surprise that she loves kids and has been cat tested as well (she loves to play with them, hopefully they like that!). Her ideal home is one with kids that will play and exercise with her. It's a win-win!
Since Nutter is still a puppy, she's working on leash-training, crate-training and potty. She currently gets walked on a schedule with potty breaks and will cry when she has to potty so at least she's letting you know! Nutter is currently working on chewing toys instead of other things and hopes you'll have patience with her. But how could you not? She's soooo cute! Adopt this sweet girl today!
All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.
To adopt or learn more about Nutter Butter, you must fill out an adoption application. To find the application, copy and paste this URL into your browser: WWW.GDRNE.COM/ADOPTION-APPLICATION [Adoption Fee: $575] **
PLEASE READ: If a dog is listed, then s/he is currently available for adoption. Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. From time to time we receive new information/photos of a dog and we do recreate their listing, which means their old listing link will no longer be valid. If you are considering a dog but don't apply right away please make sure to search for the dog by name if the link you have no longer works.
Please note, GDRNE does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated that we have run DNA. All breeds listed are educated estimates. Note that if the dog is listed as an "Out of town pet" there are NOT additional transport fees - it is included in our adoption fee Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted. To learn more about our *shelterless* rescue, adoption fees, and procedures, review the list of Frequently Asked Questions on our website at WWW.GDRNE.COM.
