Some dogs have a sparkle about them...Sterling has an entire sterling silver glow.

From his stunning blue-gray brindle coat to his enormous, ear-to-ear grin, this handsome two-year-old is the kind of dog who makes people smile before they've even met him. And once you do? You'll understand why everyone here is completely smitten.

Like so many of our Alabama dogs, Sterling is a sweetheart. Sterling has one of the sweetest dispositions you'll ever find. He greets people with a happy face, a wagging tail, and the kind of optimism that makes every day seem like the best day ever.

He's also wonderfully social with other dogs. Whether he's romping around with friends or politely greeting a new playmate, Sterling is a joy to have in a playgroup. He's playful without being overbearing and seems to genuinely enjoy everyone's company.

When there aren't any canine buddies around, Sterling is perfectly happy entertaining himself. Toss him a toy and he'll create his own game, gleefully flipping it into the air, chasing after it, and keeping himself occupied with his goofy antics. It's impossible not to laugh watching him.

And then there's the walk. We honestly don't know how else to describe it except... jaunty. Sterling doesn't simply walk-he bounces. He has this cheerful little prance that makes it look like he's perpetually on his way to something wonderful. It's as if life is just too exciting to waste on an ordinary stroll!

Sterling is the complete package: handsome, affectionate, dog-friendly, endlessly entertaining, and equipped with a smile bright enough to light up your day.

Now all he needs is someone to spend the rest of his happy little bounce-filled life with.

Sterling's adoption fee is $300. He is neutered, up to date on core vaccines, and Heartworm negative.
