Gino - Mixed Breed Dog Available for Adoption in Wheeling, Illinois

Meet Gino, a gentle soul from Kentucky with the sweetest disposition, big brown eyes that will melt your heart, and a very pouty bottom lip! He is shy in the best way: not a scared shy, but in the way that he will politely inch closer... and closer... and closer to you until he is all the way on you. He has been learning how to walk on a leash since he arrived and is being so brave! (Most of the dogs who come from rural areas have to get used to our urban/suburban one.)

When he is in a play room or in his kennel with a volunteer, Gino is all cuddles, tail wags, and quiet affection. He loves other dogs, and has lived with both dogs and kids (according to the note from the person who surrendered him and his brother to the Kentucky shelter, stating they could no longer care for them). We had Gino's brother, Walter, only briefly back in May before he was adopted! Like Walter, Gino is such a good boy, and also like Walter, we hope his stay with us is short!

Gino's adoption fee is $300. This animal is neutered, up to date on core vaccines, and Heartworm negative.
