This sweet boy needs a special home. He goes by Moose, because Mortiz was just not his vibe. Moose, however is. He is a sweet little oaf. He loves fiercely. His people are his whole world.
Moose would prefer to be with you all day. He doesn't want to stay home alone, will happily tag along to any and all errands and spend every minute with you. He is a lap dog through and through. Got a recliner? It's his favorite seat in the house.
Moose is slow to warm up to other dogs, but takes correction from both dogs and humans alike. He walks well on a leash. He's very food motivated. He is potty trained. He sleeps quietly in a crate all night, but quite frankly would prefer your bed. He is great with older kids, and would probably do well the small kids, too, who are respectful of dogs. He is in almost all aspects, perfect.
Moose is a special guy, and has pretty severe separation anxiety. He needs a home where he will not be left alone very often. He needs someone who is either retired or works from home. His family‘s idea of a great night is a movie in on the couch. He doesn't want you to have a busy social life. Moose's Foster family is working hard on his separation anxiety, however, it's likely to be a continuing process that his adopters will need to continue.
Moose is a gem of a pup and we're willing to wait a little bit longer to find the perfect home for him.
