Captain Sandy is proof that good things come in small, determined packages.

This little lady survived a parvo diagnosis as a tiny puppy and came out the other side full of spunk. According to her foster, she's very vocal and is the boss of her two brothers - even though she's the smallest of the bunch. She's gentle, confident, and loves nothing more than a good snuggle, especially first thing in the morning before she heads outside.

Sandy is great with kids and people, and she's good with dogs too - bossing around her foster brothers is basically her full-time job. She hasn't been tested in public spaces yet, so we'll keep learning and sharing as she grows.

She already knows sit, walks nicely in her Australian harness, and is crate trained both overnight and during the day. She'll even sit patiently for her food bowl. She's up to date on her vaccines and getting stronger every day since her recovery.

Sandy fought hard to get here, and now she just needs a family to grow up with.
