Captain Lee had one of the toughest fights a puppy can face - and he won.

He tested positive for parvo as a tiny puppy and needed hospitalization and blood transfusions to pull through. Today, he's a completely different dog: an independent little explorer who loves checking out every corner of a room and isn't afraid to carve out some alone time under the furniture when he needs it. He's also a total goofball with his sister, Captain Sandy - the two of them love to wrestle.

Lee is great with kids and people, and he gets along well with other dogs too. He hasn't been out in public spaces yet, so we'll share more as he gets the chance to experience the world.

He already knows sit, walks nicely in his Australian harness, and is crate trained both overnight and during the day. He'll even sit patiently for his food bowl. He's up to date on his vaccines and getting stronger every day.

Lee fought harder than most puppies ever have to, and now he just needs a family to grow up with.
