Meet Riley

Riley is a 2-year-old Pointer mix with a heart full of love, endless enthusiasm, and a second chance at life. As a heartworm survivor, Riley has successfully completed treatment and is now healthy, happy, and ready to find the forever family she's been dreaming about.

This sweet girl is full of energy and absolutely loves being part of whatever is going on. Riley is happiest when she's with her people, whether that's playing in the yard, going for adventures, or curling up for snuggles after a busy day. She doesn't just want attention-she wants to love and be loved with her whole heart.

One of Riley's favorite things in the world is toys. In fact, she's a bit of a toy collector! She loves carrying toys around, gathering them into her own little stash, and proudly showing them off throughout the day. If Riley has a toy in her mouth, it often helps channel some of her excitement and gives her a job to do. You'll frequently find her trotting around with a favorite toy, tail wagging and ready for fun.

Despite her energetic personality, Riley also has a wonderfully affectionate side. She loves snuggles, enjoys being held, and is always happy to soak up attention from her people. She's the kind of dog who forms strong bonds and wants nothing more than to be a beloved member of the family.

Riley is crate trained, potty trained, and has a great foundation for life in a home. She is currently working on keeping all four paws on the ground when she gets excited, because sometimes her enthusiasm gets the best of her. With continued consistency and positive reinforcement, she's making great progress.

Riley does well with children and other dogs and would thrive in an active home that can give her plenty of exercise, attention, and opportunities to play.
