Trudy - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Stanton, Kentucky

Trudy is pretty unique looking, right? She is a mixed breed with parents of medium size. She and her 3 siblings were an unplanned litter surrendered when the owners could not provide proper housing and space. She is a slender slight girl of about 25-30 lbs. She is nearly full grown and approaching 10 months of age. She is welcoming a new found freedom of more space than her previous owners could provide. She and her siblings are kind, friendly and loving. It's great to see them having fun together. Even better is finding them that perfect home where safety and adventure awaits.

We are a rural shelter with high intakes. As a result, the shelter dogs are not guaranteed safety. We do our best but, we need help.

ADOPTION FEES APPLY- Dogs $175- $200 Cats $90. (We are not set up for credit or debit payments.)

Families with young children are required to have a fenced yard to prevent accidental escape of pets.

The shelter is open Monday thru Friday from 9 - 3 p.m. except Thursdays (closed). Appointments are recommended. Saturday hours normally 10 - noon or by appt.

After hours appts can be arranged with advance notice and an approved application. We want to accommodate!

We are glad to answer any questions. Adoption rates include a spay or neuter, vaccines, & deworming. Surgeries are mandatory!
