GORGEous Gordy - Mixed Breed and Husky Dog for Adoption in Stanton, Kentucky

Gordy was found near our famous Red River Gorge park. He will literally slither into your heart with his charming humble personality! He is so silly and forgets to use his legs when he meets new people. He is giddy and funny upon introduction. He's new to the shelter and we expect to learn more about his young coy personality. He is a young 9-12 months old, we estimate. His size is around 60-65 lbs. He is slender and in good shape. More photos coming soon.

We are a rural shelter with high intakes. As a result, the shelter dogs are not guaranteed safety. We do our best but, we need help.

ADOPTION FEES APPLY- Dogs $175- $200 Cats $90. (We are not set up for credit or debit payments.)

Families with young children are required to have a fenced yard to prevent accidental escape of pets.

The shelter is open Monday thru Friday from 9 - 3 p.m. except Thursdays (closed). Appointments are recommended. Saturday hours normally 10 - noon or by appt.

After hours appts can be arranged with advance notice and an approved application. We want to accommodate!

We are glad to answer any questions. Adoption rates include a spay or neuter, vaccines, & deworming. Surgeries are mandatory!

We are 45 minutes east of Lexington, Ky.
