Give her a moment, though, and she starts to like you. Give her a day or so more, and she loves you completely, jumping up to greet you and making it clear that she is all in. Once Ookie builds trust, she builds it for good, and what she is really asking for in return is simply to know that she is safe.

Ookie is a good girl through and through. She loves car rides, she loves walks, and she especially loves curling up on your lap for a quiet evening of watching TV together.
