DESCRIPTION
Waylon is a 4 month old, mixed breed. In May 2026, he was brought to the shelter with his siblings after his original owner was no longer able to care for him. Waylon will be neutered and microchipped once he is old enough. For now, though, he is updated on his vaccinations, flea treated, dewormed, and flea treated.
This handsome little boy is as perfect as they come. He's outgoing, friendly, and very eager to learn and please. He would be the perfect addition to any home looking for a new best friend.
Waylon seems to get along well with most other dogs and people of all ages. Like all puppies, he will need some additional work on his housetraining and basic obedience.
If you are interested in adopting Waylon, please fill out an adoption application using our website (echumanesociety.org) and a member of staff will be in touch with you as soon as possible. You are also more than welcome to stop in anytime during our regular business hours and meet Waylon in person! Feel free to call the shelter at (814) 834-3247 if you have any questions.
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
