DESCRIPTION
Peach is a 6 month old, mixed breed. In June 2026, she was brought to the shelter with her sister, Bear, after their original owner was no longer able to care for them. Peach is spayed, updated on her vaccinations, flea treated, dewormed, and microchipped.
This sweet girl came from a pretty rough situation and so has not yet had a chance to be the normal puppy she was meant to be, and as a result is very shy around strangers at first. Once she gets to know you, though, she loves to give kisses and enjoys attention.
Like all puppies, Peach will need some additional work on her house training and basic obedience training. She does do well with other dogs, and very much enjoys their company. She would love to be adopted with Bear, but they can be separated.
If you are interested in adopting Peach, please fill out adoption application using our website (echumanesociety.org) and a member of staff will be in touch with you as soon as possible. You are also more than welcome to stop in anytime during our regular business hours and meet Peach in person! Feel free to call the shelter at (814) 834-3247 if you have any questions.
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
