DESCRIPTION
Thor is a 1 year old, mixed breed. In May 2026, he was brought to the shelter after his original owner passed away. Thor is neutered, updated on vaccinations, flea treated, dewormed, and microchipped. He is currently being treated for Lymes.
The smiling face is not only super handsome, but he also has a fantastic personality! Thor is extremely sweet and loves attention, though he may take a few minutes to warm up to new people.
Thor would do best in a home without any cats, but gets along well with people of all ages. He is housetrained, knows several of his basic commands such as "sit", and walks very well on a leash.
If you are interested in adopting Thor, please fill out an adoption application using our website (echumanesociety.org) and a member of staff will be in touch with you as soon as possible. You are also more than welcome to stop in anytime during our regular business hours and meet Thor in person! Feel free to call the shelter at (814) 834-3247 if you have any questions.
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
