Meet Tasha (“Tashsquatch”)!

Looking for a loyal best friend who loves to cuddle? Meet Tasha—affectionately known as Tashsquatch (like Sasquatch!). If she doesn't respond to “Tasha,” just call out “Tashsquatch,” and she'll come running.

Tasha is a petite girl, weighing around 35–40 pounds, with a big heart and an even bigger love for her people. She absolutely adores cuddling and would happily spend her evenings snuggled up with you. She especially bonds with men, since her former owner was male but is friendly with everyone she meets and has done great with a 6-year-old child.

She has a playful side, too! Tasha loves carrying around large stuffed toys, taking them to bed with her, and proudly showing them off. She enjoys “de-stuffing” plush toys and is a huge fan of Benebones and other durable chew toys.

She's a smart girl who has learned to ring a bell at the back door when she needs to go outside. Just be ready—after dinner, she'll let you know immediately that it's potty time! Tasha is crate trained too!

Like every dog, Tasha has a few quirks that her future family should know:

Tasha rides best with Dramamine if traveling by car.

She must be fed separately from other dogs due to food guarding.

She is an enthusiastic counter surfer, so keeping food and other items off the counters is a must.

She can be vocal when left in the yard and tends to bark if she's outside by herself.
She would do best with a family that understands her needs and can provide structure and supervision.

A little consistency and positive interactions, and more exposure to the world will help her be her best ‘squatch'!
