Meet Zelda!
This sweet 7-year-old Staffy mix is looking for her forever couch to claim — and her forever person to share it with.
Zelda is the kind of dog who makes life easy. She's fully vetted, spayed, heartworm negative, leash trained, and house trained. She's also a huge fan of car rides, so road trips and errand runs just got a lot more fun.
At home, Zelda is calm, independent, and low-drama. She'll happily keep your couch warm while you're gone, and when you're back, she'll park herself right between your legs while you cook — not because she's begging, just because she loves being near her people. She's respectful at mealtimes and won't be in your face while you eat (a rare and underrated quality!).
Outside, she loves a good walk and is learning to ditch the pulling habit with the help of a gentle leader — she's a quick learner, especially when treats are involved. She genuinely loves meeting new people of all ages and has done wonderfully with young kids.
Zelda loves other dogs but we strongly recommend a home without small animals.
Formal dog-to-dog meet and greets are encouraged — her foster just hasn't had great neighbor dogs to practice with.
Zelda isn't asking for much — just a warm spot on the couch, someone to walk with, and a little love. If you're looking for a sweet, settled girl who's more "Netflix night in" than "wild adventure," she might be your perfect match.
