Ash - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Looking for a puppy who's as steady as they come? Meet Ash, a sweet little guy who's ready to put down roots with a family that will help him grow into the wonderful dog he's meant to be.

Ash and his five siblings were found as strays before making their way to PAWS. Since we don't know much about the first month or so of his life, he's excited for a fresh start with people who will help him discover all the good things the world has to offer.

While every puppy has their silly moments, Ash tends to take life in stride with a calm, easygoing personality. He's a cool, collected little guy who enjoys exploring at his own pace and soaking up the world around him. Like any young puppy, he'll still need all the essentials of puppyhood: positive training, socialization, enrichment, playtime, cuddles, and plenty of patience as he learns. He would especially love a home with a friendly resident dog who can show him the ropes, or a family committed to helping him build confidence through thoughtful socialization.

We're not exactly sure how big Ash will be when he's fully grown, but we expect he'll mature into a larger dog-so he's got lots of growing ahead!

Ash will also be having his neuter surgery in the coming weeks, and once he's fully vaccinated, he'll be ready to explore the world on walks and adventures. Until then, he'll need access to a private outdoor space for potty breaks, getting comfortable outside, and building a solid house training routine.

This dog is considered a mixed breed because it's not accurate to identify breed mix by sight alone, so for most dogs, their mix is only a guess. We get to know each dog as an individual and strive to make matches based on personality, not on breed label.

This dog is currently located at PAWS Grays Ferry clinic, which is not a walk-in facility.
