Mary Lumi - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in New York, New York

Meet Mary Lumi, a sweet girl who found herself at risk in a municipal shelter in Alabama. She was given a second chance, and now she's ready to discover what it means to have a family of her own.

Mary Lumi is a lovely girl with so much potential. She deserves a home where she can feel safe, loved, and cherished for exactly who she is. After everything she has been through, we want her next chapter to be one filled with soft beds, gentle hands, and a family who will never give up on her.

Sometimes all a dog needs is one person to say, “I choose you.” We hope that person is out there for Mary Lumi.

An adoption bio is only a snapshot of who an animal is. For more information about Mary Lumi, including her personality, needs, and what type of home may be the best fit, please reach out to our Adoptions Team.

All dogs will be altered, microchipped, and receive age-appropriate vaccines prior to adoption.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
