Foster-to-adopt families will contact Grass Roots Rescue around 4.5 months to schedule the required appointment with one of our partner clinics in Delaware.

Keeping this appointment is a condition of adoption. Foster-to-adopters must live within 1 hour of Delaware and be willing to travel to Delaware for the appointment.

Special traits that make your foster special or that we need to know about them? Pickles is a baby, so everything is new to him! He's still working on potty training and crate training. He has mastered the command “sit” while learning “stay” and “wait”. He's eager to learn and VERY treat motivated! Pickles has plenty of puppy energy but crashes just as quickly. He loves playing with kids and would thrive with another friendly dog, although a canine sibling is NOT required. Pickles has gained alot of confidence thanks to his foster brother and sisters. With patience, consistency, and lots of positive encouragement, Pickles will make an amazing companion. He's looking for a family ready to help him learn, grow, play, and become the best boy he can be!
