Meet Oaf!

Handsome Oaf is a big goofy lovebug who truly lives up to his name! This silly boy loves nothing more than cuddling with his people, watching TV, and running around outside having a good time.

Oaf absolutely loves other animals and seems to view just about everyone as his next best friend. But kids? He loves them even more! After he gets some of his energy out with a good hour of playtime, Oaf is happy to settle down and let the little ones love all over him. He’ll even happily curl up for a nap with them!

Oaf isn’t a big barker, but he is definitely a vocal guy—especially when mealtime is approaching! He is very food motivated, which makes him eager to learn and easy to work with. He’s doing great with learning boundaries both inside and outside the home.

Oaf is crate trained and housebroken, with one important caveat: after waking up from a nap, he needs to be taken outside right away unless someone is there to keep an eye on him. He hasn’t been allowed on the furniture except for sitting in his person’s lap, but he’s perfectly happy to lay beside you and watch TV like he owns the place.

He’s also been kept on a minimal amount of human food, so whether you’re a strict “no people food” household or a “maybe just one little bite” household, Oaf is ready to follow your lead!

Oaf is a wonderful dog with a huge heart, a goofy personality, and plenty of love to give. If you’re looking for a fun-loving companion who enjoys playtime just as much as cuddle time, Oaf may be your guy!
