Meet Bowie!

Hi, I’m Bowie, and I’m a very good boy looking for my forever home!

At around 45 pounds, I may be a big boy, but I’m convinced I’m actually a 3-pound lap dog. I love being close to my people and soaking up all the love and attention I can get.

I enjoy going for walks with my humans and I’m doing so well on a leash! I’m also learning all about being a housebroken boy. I’m making great progress, although I may still have an occasional accident when my family is away.

I’m not a huge fan of my crate, but I can tolerate it when I need to. I may let you know how I feel with a little whining, though!

I currently live with cats in my foster home. I would absolutely love to play with them, but they don’t seem to feel the same way! We’ve reached a peaceful understanding and happily coexist.

I’m still a timid boy and there are quite a few things that can scare me, but I’ve already overcome so much and have become a happy, loving pup. I’m looking for a patient family who will continue helping me build confidence while showing me how wonderful the world can be.

Because I’m still learning my size and strength, I would do best in a home without young children or anyone who is unsteady on their feet. I’m a quiet, happy, affectionate boy who just wants a family of my own.
