Petunia - Mixed Breed and French Bulldog Dog for Adoption in Madison, Wisconsin

For someone who was found in a bucket, Petunia has high standards. As she should. This girl is friendly, happy, playful, and really cute. She loves people and dogs, exploring the yard, and hanging out indoors.
Petunia was discovered in a Home Depot bucket next a stream. Beacuse she only weighed 7 pounds, it was thought that she was between 8 and 10 month old. It turns out that she closer to 5 months old but she was severely underweight. She had some parasites at the time, which likely contributed to her condition. Now she is feeling much better and looking for her furever family.
Due to health issues common with French Bulldogs, it is highly recommended that her adopters get pet insurance.

The French Bulldog, known for its iconic bat like ears, charming personality, and compact yet muscular build, is a beloved companion dog breed. Originating in France, these affectionate and adaptable dogs are ideal for apartment living due to their relatively low exercise needs. Their distinctive wrinkled face and snub nose make them instantly recognizable, while their playful and sociable nature endears them to families and singles alike. French Bulldogs are known for their loyalty, affection, and gentle temperament, making them a popular choice for dog lovers worldwide.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
