Teddy - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Lansing, Michigan
TEDDY
Mixed Breed
🇺🇸
Lansing, Michigan
June 29th
male, large, adult
DESCRIPTION
Meet Teddy! He is a 2-year-old handsome boy weighing around 70 pounds who is ready to find a loving home to call his own. Teddy came to us when his owners decided they were not able to provide the right home for him. He has been patiently waiting since June 25th, 2026 for his forever home.
Teddy is an incredibly friendly, lovable boy with a big heart and an even bigger personality. He is an active dog who enjoys being engaged with people and would thrive in a home that can meet his physical and mental exercise needs. While he is very affectionate and social, he is still learning and will benefit from continued training, structure, and positive reinforcement to help him become his best adult self.
Teddy may be a great fit for a home with older children, if there are any. He has done very well with other dogs during his time at the shelter and may be a great fit for a multi-dog home. Teddy is a big boy with lots of energy who is looking for a committed adopter ready to continue his training and give him the guidance he needs.
Teddy is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. If you're interested in meeting Teddy or learning more, please reach out to an adoption counselor by phone at (517) 626-6060 or email at adoptions@adoptlansing.org.
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
