Lenny
Playful, Proud, and Full of Love
12 Weeks Old Male Chihuahua Mix (Probably)
Fostered in Beach Park, IL
Meet Lenny, a lovable 12-week-old puppy from our Laverne & Shirley litter. Lenny is believed to be a Chihuahua mix. The shelter reported that his mother was a Chihuahua, but his father is unknown, so his future size is our best guess.
Lenny is the biggest of the bunch, and we estimate he may be around 30 pounds fully grown.
Lenny is well socialized and does great with other dogs, kids, and cats. He is a fun, happy puppy who loves to play and be around his people. He especially loves toys and proudly carries them around like little trophies. He also already knows how to fetch, which makes playtime with him even more fun.
Lenny loves hard and plays hard. He wants to be near his people and likes to make sure you always know he is there. He is affectionate, silly, and full of personality.
At some point in his life, it appears Lennys tail may have been broken and healed with a bend in it. It does not slow him down and only adds to his one-of-a-kind charm.
Like all puppies, Lenny is working on his puppy basics while in foster care and will need a family committed to continuing his training, structure, and socialization.
Because of his small size and young age, we are seeking a home with no small children for his safety.
If you are looking for a playful, loving puppy with a big personality and an even bigger heart, Lenny may be the perfect match.
