Meet Laverne, a sweet and affectionate little puppy with a heart as big as her ears and a future full of potential.

Laverne is part of our Shirley & Laverne litter and is currently being fostered in Beach Park while she searches for the perfect family to call her own. According to the shelter, her mother was a Chihuahua. Her father, however, remains a mystery. There have been rumors involving the local milkman, but only Maury knows the truth.

Because dad's identity is unknown, predicting Laverne's adult size is a bit of a guessing game. Our best estimate is that she'll grow to be around 25 pounds, but that's based on the information we have available and could certainly change as she grows.

Laverne is the kind of puppy who wins hearts wherever she goes. She has been well socialized and enjoys spending time with both people and other animals.

She is currently working on her basic puppy training while in foster care and is learning the skills she will need to be a wonderful lifelong companion.

Laverne has a wonderful medium energy level. She enjoys playing, exploring, and having fun with her toys, but she also knows how to slow down and enjoy quality time with her people.

Her foster mom describes her as an incredibly sweet girl who absolutely adores affection. In fact, if Laverne had to choose her favorite activity, it would undoubtedly be getting belly rubs.
