DESCRIPTION

Those eyes say it all, don’t they?

Peanut is about a year and a half old and falls right in that small-to-medium size—easy to have around, easy to take along, and just the right fit for so many homes. He’s got a gentle, soulful look and a heart to match.

He walks nicely on a leash and really enjoys getting out and about—long walks, fresh air, and car rides are right up his alley. When it’s time to play, Peanut is happy to join in. Plush toys, tennis balls, squeaky toys—he enjoys them all, especially a good game of tug or fetch.

Peanut already knows sit, lay down, and drop it, and he’s crate trained too, making him a pretty easy addition to a home.

With other dogs, Peanut has done best with easygoing companions, and as always, we recommend bringing your dog in to meet him to see if it’s a good match.

But more than anything, Peanut is just a really loving dog. He enjoys being close to his people, snuggling up under the blankets, and being part of everyday life.

Now picture this...

A quiet evening, you settle in, and Peanut finds his spot—tucked in close, warm and content, just happy to be there with you.

He’s a good dog. A really good dog.
And he’s ready for someone to see that and give him the home he deserves.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
