- Rescued from Mississippi
- Would do best in a home with children 5 and older who can take his cues and give him time when he's feeling nervous
- Returned to TLC through no fault of his own and thriving in foster care
- Super loving, curious, and affectionate boy who thinks "personal space" is just a suggestion
- Will jump on your lap, crawl up your shoulders, and sit as close to your face as possible - he just wants to be near you!
- Also happy to settle in on his own and explore his surroundings
- Takes a short time to warm up to new people - may hide behind his person at first, but melts with treats and affection
- Has found a love for stuffed toys - obsesses over one at a time, carries it around, and plays fetch (but will eventually pull out all the stuffing, so supervision recommended!)
- Uses his paws like a little monkey to grab your hand when he wants pets
- Needs some confidence building on the leash - prefers walking in your shadow rather than leading
- A bit nervous about stairs but adapts quickly to new things (like the Roomba!)
- Happily goes into his crate when the door is open and keeps it clean
- Working on crate training, especially settling at night when he knows you're home - he just wants to be with his people!
- Housebroken
- Learns quickly and just needs patience and consistency from his adopters to continue building confidence
- Dog friendly and follows other dogs around - would enjoy a playful dog companion with similar energy, but would also be happy as an only dog
- Has not been assessed with cats yet
- Looking for a loving and committed forever home to provide him with the care and love he deserves
