Vega has officially decided that foster life is pretty awesome! She arrived shy and unsure of all the NEWNESS, but she has blossomed into a playful, affectionate, silly girl who is discovering just how much fun being a dog can be.

- Sweet, playful, and full of personality
- Needs a cat & dog-free home, she prefers to be in a home where she shines as the only pet around
- Enjoys squeaky toys and is perfectly happy entertaining herself
- Loves cuddling once she decides it's cuddle time
- Excellent bed companion who takes her job of keeping her humans warm very seriously
- Has a gorgeous, incredibly soft velvet coat
- Very food motivated and has an impressive talent for catching treats
- Confidently exploring her surroundings and continuing to build trust
- Still gaining confidence, but her personality is really starting to shine
-prefers to be inside with her family but will go outside if she's not alone

Vega is looking for a family who will appreciate her sweet, sassy personality and give her the time and support she needs to continue building confidence. Once she trusts you, you'll get to see all the playful, cuddly, goofy girl she has been waiting to become!

Old Dominion Humane Society (ODHS) Adoption Process
- Complete our Adoption Survey on the Adopt page of our website at https://www.olddominionhumanesociety.org/adoption-survey to expedite the process and arrange a meet-and-greet. Expect a response within about a week; please check your spam folder. As we're 100% volunteer-run, your patience is appreciated!

Requirements And Donations
- Required Adoption Day Items: A martingale collar and a non-retractable leash (available for purchase at ODHS).
- Adoption Donations: Puppies (under 1 year): $375; Adults: $275; Seniors (age-dependent): $175; Select dogs: $500. We accept cash, debit, and credit cards.
- Adoption Radius: Within 350 miles of Fredericksburg, VA. A $50 out-of-state fee applies.
- Breed Identification: Dogs are listed as "Mixed Breed" unless formal documentation is available.

Location And Hours
- Visit our adoption center at 3602 Lafayette Blvd, Fredericksburg, VA 22408 during adoption hours: Wednesday 5-7 PM; Friday 6-8 PM; and Saturday 10AM-4PM.
