-He's a very nervous pup!
-He will greet you with tail wags and also submissively roll over because he's nervous He does however like treats! That is the way to gain his trust!
-Walking....the halls were scary, the leash is scary....life is scary! But he's trying!
-He met a few people in the hallway and was initially trying to hide but would also slowly inch his way over for attention. Again....trying!
-He got a much needed bath which he tolerated, but didn't love. Again....scary! -He's sweet and gentle and just needs some socialization and a confidence boost
-He met another timid pup through the fence, perked up and greeted appropriately. He will most likely do well with a confident, but respectful, doggie sibling. Just remember...decompression and slow intros are so very important to set them up for success!

*Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in.

*There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption.

*To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering.

**And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.**
