Knead Love A183672
36 lb. neutered male, approx 1 year old
-This boy has a zest for life!
-He's fun and energetic and quite the lap dog!
-He's very agile and will end up all the way on your lap before you realize what's happening! 😂 All four legs...off the ground and standing on top of you!
-Personal space isn't a thing with this boy!
-He is food focused and did great sniffing out all the treats that I had scattered
-He will sit...impatiently....but takes them decently. He will jump up occasionally if you hold them too long. He's just a big, active young pup who needs a little bit of manners training.
-He's not currently playing with toys but seems to be playful
-Overall good boy who would love a family to play with and learn from
-He walks decent on leash with minimal pulling. He starts off bouncy and excited but settles in nicely.
-Will need some puppy training. Please keep that in mind if you want a puppy. They require time and patience to be the best that they can be!
-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros
Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids
*Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt
*Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment.
*Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in.
*There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption.
*To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering.
**And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.**
*The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30
