Sheba - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Covington, Washington

A 30ish pound, 6 year old female Super Mutt, Sheba arrived to Smidget pregnant. Having done a great job raising her pups, shes is ready to bring dances of joy and lots of cuddles to her forever home. She's been in rescue far too long, through no fault of her own. She's a bit larger than our normal focus on small dogs, and takes awhile to warm up, and that's kept her from finding her people. Please share her if she's not the fit for you!
She's a great girl and is delighted to run with you, play ball, or lounge on the couch. She is loyal, eager to please, and gets along well with other dogs and cats. Shebas energy levels are high and would be too much for a home with small children. In addition to normal barking, she will make a series of high pitched noises when triggered by something such as a strange dog. Very smart and food-motivated, she responds well to training. New people are a challenge for her and she will take some timeand treatsto warm up to them - are you the special family that will give Sheba the loving forever home she deserves?
