Chihuahua Dogs Available for Adoption in Covington, Washington

PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE BIO ON THIS DOG BEFORE REQUESTING AN APPLICATION. MANY OF OUR DOGS HAVE STRICT REQUIREMENTS FOR THEIR ADOPTION.

My name is Dream at the rescue, but I go by Angel. I am a 7lb female chihuahua around 2.5 years old. I am so sweet and loving, I love to give lots and lots of kisses so you better like kisses because I have lots of them to give. I love to snuggle with my human, but I also love to play with my foster sisters, chew on bones and love my stuffies. I am a typical chihuahua because I am jealous and I want all the attention. I can be a bit possessive with my human. I love all people, not too shy. I like to snuggle in the bed with my foster Mom. My foster Mom says I am a Dream and an Angel. I have a heart condition that prevents me from going under surgical procedures, but I am not on any medication at this point. To request an application, please email smidgetrescue@hotmail.com

Smidget Rescue is not a shelter, and dogs cannot be seen at the Rescue location. All dogs are fostered throughout the Puget Sound area and are brought to the events where they can be met by prospective adopters. Notice: We do not ship dogs out of state. You must live within a three-hour radius of Seattle, WA, (such as Portland, Vancouver B.C., etc.), so we can arrange for a home visit.

The Chihuahua is a small breed famous for its confidence, loyalty, and big personality, despite its tiny size. Originating from Mexico, these dogs are known for their large, expressive eyes and alert, curious nature. Chihuahuas make excellent companions, forming strong bonds with their owners and displaying a protective nature. They come in a variety of coat colors and patterns, with both long and short coats, making them a diverse and adorable addition to any family.
