Arthur Deserves a Soft Place to Land, can you help?

Arthur is 8 years old and 53 pounds, and our hearts ache for this sweet senior boy.

At an age when a dog should already know where he belongs—where his bed is, whose footsteps mean home, and which person will be beside him for the rest of his days—Arthur is still waiting for that person.

He isn't asking for much. Arthur would be happiest in a quiet, peaceful home with someone who will give him the security and love every senior dog deserves. A soft bed. A gentle hand. A person to call his own.

Arthur is heartworm positive and is currently being treated with the slow-kill method. Diagnostics also found nodules on his liver, but thankfully, everything so far indicates they are benign. He may not come with the perfect medical history, but he comes with something far more important: a heart that still has so much love left to give.

We know seniors can be overlooked. We know people sometimes see an older dog and worry about how much time they might have together.

But Arthur doesn't know hes a senior. He only knows that he wants to belong.

Rescue Coop is a registered 501c that saves dogs from imminent euthanasia and at risk situations and transports them directly to approved adopters nationwide. We are located in SC but in three years, we have placed 550 dogs in 28 states. We post our dogs in the areas we regularly transport to. Our adoption fee is $200 with no additional transport charges.
