At 10 years old, Cody never expected to be looking for a new family. Through no fault of his own, his family is facing a difficult situation and can no longer provide the care he needs.

Cody is a 10-year-old Beagle and, by all accounts, an absolute sweetheart. He loves people, children and other dogs and has never met a person or pup he didnt like. He enjoys long walks, sitting outside, cuddling with his people, and curling up in a soft bed with plenty of blankets.

Cody does have one special need: he wears a diaper indoors because he can have urinary accidents. He does let you know when he needs to go outside, but if he isnt taken out when he asks, he may have an accident. A home where someone is around often—perhaps someone who works from home or is retired—would be especially wonderful for him.

Hes still a happy boy who enjoys his walks, his snuggles and simply being near his people. He isnt asking for much—just someone willing to accommodate his needs and love a sweet senior Beagle for all that he is.

The adoption fee for Cody is half sponsored.

Rescue Coop is a registered 501c that saves dogs from imminent euthanasia and at risk situations and transports them directly to approved adopters nationwide. We are located in SC but in three years, we have placed 550 dogs in 28 states. We post our dogs in the areas we regularly transport to. Our adoption fee is $200 with no additional transport charges. Unfortunately we are unable to do meet and greets but our adoption coordinators strive to make excellent matches. The Beagle is a beloved breed known for its friendly nature, curious personality, and distinctive howl. These small to medium sized dogs are incredibly sociable and get along well with both humans and other pets.
