Meet Buck

Buck is 2.5 years old, and what he wants most is something he has not been able to count on yet: his person.

Buck spent his first two years with a family, only to lose the home he knew when a divorce led to his surrender. That upheaval left this sweet boy a little timid and unsure of himself. He wants to trust—he just needs someone who will show him that this time, hes home for good.

To help Buck build confidence, he completed a month-long training program, and he is one smart boy! He knows multiple commands, walks nicely on a leash, and has worked hard to become the best companion he can be.

We think Buck could make an especially wonderful emotional support companion because the relationship would go both ways. He will lean on his person for reassurance and confidence, and in return, we believe he will bond deeply with that one special human and become their devoted best friend.

Buck does not need a lot. He just needs patience, consistency, kindness—and someone who understands that sometimes the dogs who need us a little more end up loving us the most.

Rescue Coop is a registered 501c that saves dogs from imminent euthanasia and at risk situations and transports them directly to approved adopters nationwide. We are located in SC but in three years, we have placed 550 dogs in 28 states. We post our dogs in the areas we regularly transport to. Our adoption fee is $200 with no additional transport charges. Unfortunately we are unable to do meet and greets but our adoption coordinators strive to make excellent matches.
