Meet Honeydew!

Honeydew is a shy and incredibly sweet girl who is still learning that the world can be a fun and exciting place! She is currently working on embracing new things, including stairs, potty training, and learning the sit command, and she is making progress as she continues to build her confidence.

This gentle girl does wonderfully with other dogs and loves having furry friends to play with. She is kind and gentle in her interactions, but if Honeydew had to choose her absolute favorite thing, it would definitely be her humans! She loves being close to her people and will happily follow you wherever you go. If you leave her behind or go into a room she can't reach, she'll let you know just how much she'd rather be right by your side!

Honeydew does have a prey drive toward cats and likely other small animals, so she would do best in a home without them.

If you're an active family looking for the perfect adventure buddy, Honeydew may be your girl! She is an amazing hiking companion who walks wonderfully on a leash without pulling and is ready to tackle just about any trail you put in front of her. After recently completing an hour-and-a-half hike, this energetic girl was still happily frolicking around and ready for more fun!

Honeydew has so much love to give and is looking for a patient, active family who will continue helping her grow in confidence while including her in all of life's adventures.
