Opal is a tiny warrior wrapped in the softest, sweetest soul. After spending over a week in the hospital fighting parvo, she beat the odds with quiet determination. Now she's learning how to enjoy the world again - slowly, softly, and at her own pace.
This mellow little pup wants connection so badly, but eye contact can still feel a bit overwhelming. She'll peek at you, look away, then try again. Her bravery comes in small, precious steps.
Now that she's feeling better, Opal has discovered two great joys in life: food and soft squeaky toys. She's also the cleanest puppy her foster has ever met. While she's still working on potty training, she does wonderfully with potty pads.
Opal isn't a fan of baths, but she adores soft, fuzzy pajamas - especially when the air conditioning feels chilly. She's a comfortseeker at heart.
Opal is searching for a patient, gentle home that celebrates tiny victories and understands that courage grows slowly. She may not be fully brave yet, but she's trying every day, and she'll blossom beautifully with someone who lets her move at her own pace.

The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).
Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs over 9 months), FIV/FeLV test (cats - one in the litter), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).
Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
