Princess Diana • Brindle Female Puppy • Shy, Sweet & Learning to Trust
Princess Diana may have arrived with a big attitude, but underneath that tough first impression is a scared little puppy who just needed kindness. When she came in, she was terrified — snapping, shaking, and trying to protect herself from everyone, even the officer. But once she got a warm bath and gentle handling, her whole world shifted. She relaxed, let volunteers clip her nails, and even started to show her playful side.
Today, Princess Diana is still timid, but she’s blossoming. She hides under her bed at first, but with patience she comes forward, curious and hopeful. Volunteers have sat quietly with her, and she’s begun offering belly rubs, soft tail wags, and brave little steps toward trust. She’s eating well, playing with toys, and loves being near her brother Apollo.
Princess Diana is a true puppy—just scared, not aggressive. She’s learning that people can be safe, and she’s responding beautifully to slow, gentle interaction. She’s now cleared to be handled and can enjoy time in the puppy pen with her brother. She may be a flight risk when nervous, so she’ll need a secure home and patient adopters who understand shy pups.
