Looking to help a dog in need? Then check out this opportunity to FOSTER OR FOSTER TO ADOPT with Canine Haven Rescue! We are a foster-based rescue organization in the GTA. We can only help bring these dogs out of shelters if we have a foster (or foster to adopt) home for them. Fostering is free, all supplies are provided, and you get the opportunity to help a deserving dog! If you foster to adopt, you will have the option to adopt after approximately 2 weeks.

Meet Nala, a pint-sized firecracker who is convinced she’s a big dog in a small package! At not quite 2 years old, Nala is young, energetic, goofy, and full of personality. She’s the kind of dog who will keep you laughing, keep you moving, and make sure there’s never a dull moment when she’s around.

Nala came into shelter care severely underweight and in need of some serious TLC. With plenty of good meals, rest, and love, she has made an incredible transformation into a happy, healthy girl who is ready to put her difficult start behind her and find a family of her own.

This goofy little girl has energy to spare and is always ready for her next adventure. Nala will benefit from an active home that can give her plenty of exercise, enrichment, and opportunities to put her clever brain to work. She’s still polishing up her manners, but she is incredibly smart and responds wonderfully to positive, reward-based training. And if treats happen to be involved? Even better!

Nala can share her home with another well-matched dog. A home with children aged 12 and older would be the best fit for her enthusiastic personality and energy level.

Behind all that spunk is an incredibly sweet and affectionate young dog. Nala has already come such a long way, and now she needs a family willing to give her the consistency, guidance, and love she needs to keep thriving.
