Meet Patty!

Patty's story could have ended before it ever truly began.

She was abandoned with her brother in a remote area of the mountains of Puerto Rico, left to fend for herself with little chance of survival. Thankfully, one of our incredible rescue partners found them just in time. From the moment Patty realized she was safe, her true personality began to shine.

Today, Patty is 1 year old, weighs just 18 pounds, and is waiting to meet her forever family at our shelter in Weare, New Hampshire.

She spent the following months in the loving home of an amazing foster mom in Puerto Rico, where she blossomed into the happy, affectionate, and playful girl she was always meant to be.

Patty loves playing with her toys, chasing around the yard, and romping with her canine friends. She has a fun-loving, active personality and would thrive in a home with another playful dog who can match her energy and become her best friend.

When playtime is over, Patty is all about cuddles. She'll happily curl up beside you on the couch, keeping you company with her gentle spirit and unwavering loyalty. She is an incredibly sweet, humble girl who simply wants to love and be loved.

Patty is also wonderfully well-mannered. She is house-trained, sleeps peacefully through the night in her kennel, and is a very obedient companion.

After everything she's been through, Patty has never lost her ability to trust or love. She is ready to leave her past behind and begin the next chapter of her life with a family who will cherish her forever.
