Walter James is a 5-year-old Miniature Poodle weighing 13 pounds, and he lives life with one goal: to be the center of attention. After being saved from the euthanasia list in Houston due to a large, irritated mass on his neck, Walter got the second chance he deserved-and he has no intention of wasting it!

From the moment he arrived at Camo Rescue, Walter made himself right at home. This outgoing little guy loves meeting new people and assumes that every person he encounters is there to provide him with treats, pets, or preferably both. If you're looking for a dog with personality, Walter has enough to spare.

Walter is a huge fan of affection, especially a good booty scratch. In fact, the only thing that can distract him from soaking up attention is food. Walter is incredibly food-motivated and approaches mealtime, snack time, and any potential snack time with unmatched enthusiasm. Because of this, he'd benefit from some training to help polish his manners and learn that not every snack belongs to him.

He's currently working on his potty training and leash skills and is making progress every day. With a consistent schedule, positive reinforcement, and a family committed to continuing his training, Walter is sure to thrive.

Walter would be happy in a home with children or adults, as long as they're ready for a fun-loving companion who approaches every day with excitement. Adoption fee is: $350

ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com.

Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee.

Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.
