Lala Simone - Sheep Dog and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Houston, Texas

Lala Simone is a beautiful 4-year-old Sheepdog mix weighing in at 40 pounds. This sweet girl found her way to Camo Rescue after being transferred from another Texas shelter, where she was at risk of euthanasia. Thankfully, she was given a second chance, and we're now watching her blossom into the wonderful dog she's meant to be.

Since arriving at Camo Rescue, Lala's gentle personality has slowly started to shine. While she can be a little shy at first, once she learns to trust you, she absolutely melts into affection and loves being petted. Her favorite way to bond? Through treats! Lala is highly food-motivated, making her an excellent candidate for continued training and confidence-building activities.

Lala can be a bit fearful in new environments and is still learning that the world is a safe place. She will thrive with a patient family that understands she may need some time to adjust and come out of her shell. The good news is that she's already doing great with her potty training and continues to make progress every day.

This lovely girl has also shown that she can be comfortable around small animals, including chickens. Because she can be sensitive and cautious, Lala would do best in a calm, adult-only home where she can continue building confidence at her own pace.

ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com.

Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee.

Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.
