Meet Polly!

Polly is a 3-year-old Miniature Poodle with a personality that will make you smile. She’s outgoing, friendly, and loves meeting everyone—people, dogs, and kids alike. She’s also been doing well with the indoor cats in her foster home.

She has a medium energy level—playful and curious, but not over the top. Polly would enjoy another dog in the home, but she doesn’t require one. She should be fine in a home without a fence as long as she gets regular leash walks and exercise.

Polly appears to be housebroken and, while she’s not a big fan of the crate, she may not need one as she settles in. She doesn’t know formal commands yet, but she’s smart and eager to learn.

She came to us from Chicago Animal Care & Control after being found as a stray. She has some healing wounds on her back (possibly burns), but she’s recovering well and doesn’t let it slow her down.

Polly will be spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped before heading to her forever home, and we are accepting applications now.
