Rex (20260606-01)
DOB: 11/25/2024 Estimated
Age: 1 1/2 years
Weight: 10-20 lbs
Neutered: Yes
Rex came into foster care after being rescued from the local shelter, and from the very beginning he showed just how adaptable and loving he is. He settled in quickly with his foster familys two small dogs and was eager to make friends. He is also very interested in the resident cat and would love to play, although he is still learning that not every cat shares his enthusiasm.
This handsome boy has a huge heart and an even bigger personality. Rex is incredibly affectionate and happiest when hes curled up on the couch beside his people, soaking up belly rubs, pats, and attention. He forms strong bonds with those he loves and is always ready to offer companionship and loyalty.
Like many young dogs, Rex is full of energy and curiosity. He enjoys squeaky toys, large chew toys, and interactive playtime to help keep both his mind and body busy. Because hes still very much a puppy at heart, he can get excited and occasionally forget his manners. Hes currently working on things like not jumping on furniture uninvited and improving his leash skills, and hes making steady progress.
Rex already knows his name, comes when called, and can sit on command. Hes learning more every day and thrives when given positive guidance, consistency, and encouragement.
Rex is looking for a patient, active family that will continue helping him become the best dog he can be. A home with a securely fenced yard and children over the age of six or seven would be ideal, as theyll be able to match his playful energy and enjoy all the fun he brings. In return, Rex will reward his family with endless love, laughter, cuddles, and devotion.
If youre looking for a loyal best friend with a playful spirit and a heart full of love, Rex may be the perfect match.
