OUT-OF-TOWN Dogs with NDR refer to dogs we have saved that have yet to make their journey to Ontario. These dogs are currently in our care with the help of our partners in the area. These dogs will all travel to the Niagara Region once an appropriate adopter or local foster is found.

Some stories begin with heartbreak, but Lobita’s story is one of courage, resilience, and hope. Lobita, a beautiful Husky girl from Mexico, was rescued from an unimaginable situation of extreme abuse. When she was found, she was not only fighting for her own survival but also caring for her three precious puppies. Her body showed the effects of severe neglect, including advanced mange that left her uncomfortable and in pain. Despite everything she had endured, Lobita never gave up.
Over the course of a full year, she received the medical care, treatment, and patience she desperately needed. Day by day, her beautiful coat began to grow back, her health improved, and her gentle spirit started to shine through. Through every challenge, Lobita showed remarkable strength and an incredible capacity to trust again.
Today, Lobita is a healthy, happy girl who is finally ready for the life she has always deserved. She has a medium energy level and enjoys daily walks, playtime, and spending time with the people she loves. She especially enjoys being around children and would thrive in a family that includes her in everyday activities and gives her the affection she has waited so long to receive.
Lobita has left her difficult past behind and is looking toward a bright future filled with love, security, and companionship. She dreams of a family who will cherish her, take her on adventures, and give her a warm place to call home forever. After everything she has overcome, Lobita isn't just looking for an adopter—she's looking for her happily ever after. Could that be with you?
