DESCRIPTION
A SWEET & WELL-MANNERED FRIEND: Approx. 11 years old / Approx. 19 lbs.
Hi, I'm Angie! I came to Mostly Mutts when I found myself in need of a new home and family. I'm enjoying my time with the nice volunteers who spend time with and take great care of me—they are so much fun to hang out with! Now I hear that I'm ready to find a wonderful family of my very own, where I can love and be loved furever! I hope to meet them very soon!
• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and did alright with them, though I wasn't initially ready to play. After a little time, I did enjoy going into the play yard with the trainers and another sweet dog, so if you have a nice dog at home already, let's meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven't met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let's meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over that may fall on me.
• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: The nice volunteers describe me as gentle, friendly, and sweet, and I think they got it just right! I'm a well-mannered little gal with a lovely disposition and an easygoing nature. I enjoy making friends and sharing my affection, and I can't wait to bring my gentle sweetness to a family of my own! / Energy level: 4-6.
• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered the 'sit', 'stay', 'come', 'drop it', 'leave it' and 'place' commands. I also use proper door etiquette and have good leash manners as well as accept friendly strangers without jumping. Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / My potty manners have been pretty good on the shelter schedule, so hopefully that will be the case in my new home too.
• LIKES/DISLIKES: I love spending time with the nice volunteers and soaking up all the attention! I'm sure we'll discover lots more things we enjoy doing together once I'm settled into my new home! / I can't think of any dislikes, though like all dogs, I'm sure I wouldn't like it if I didn't get enough love, attention, exercise, and training.
• MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I recently had a good dental cleaning, so my mouth is fresh again! I have a mild luxating patella in my left rear leg which is typical for a lot of smaller dogs and it doesn't bother me. I'm on an inexpensive over-the-counter joint supplement called Cosequin that's good for all older dog's joints.
I'm a sweet, gentle girl looking for the same in my wonderful new home. My adoption fee is $299.00, and I'm located in Kennesaw, Ga.
