Charlie is an almost 8-year-old mixed breed dog, possibly Lab/Mastiff, with a heart as big as his 75-pound frame. Charlie came to the shelter after a welfare check on his owner led to the heartbreaking discovery that his owner had passed away, leaving Charlie in need of a new beginning.

Charlie has never met a meal he would pass up or a person he didn't want to be friends with. His whole body turns into one giant wiggle when he sees people, and his joyful personality is impossible to resist. Charlie has done well with other dogs, showed little interest in the cats, and keeps his kennel tidy. Despite losing the person he loved, Charlie continues to greet each day with enthusiasm, affection, and hope. He is looking for a family that will appreciate his goofy personality, loving nature, and unwavering friendship.

Charlie is neutered, microchipped, current on vaccines, dewormed, heartworm tested, and on monthly preventatives.
