Mastiff Dogs Available for Adoption in Hampton, Virginia

...and someone pays thousands of dollars to buy and ship your squishy baby self all the way to the U.S.!

You're snatched away from the life you know, you endure a long, scary flight, and some stranger brings you into his home...

...only to realize that puppies, even expensive, pedigreed ones, require time and vet care!

Moby doesn't have to imagine - that's his reality.

Shipped to the U.S., then left at a shelter when his human decided that he was just too much responsibility.

I know I don't need to tell you this, but dogs are family, best friends, life-long companions - not status symbols!

Moby is two-years-old, housetrained, silly but never destructive, and about 140-pounds of PURE LOVE!

He's healthy, other than previously untreated allergies that we're addressing now with our awesome vet.

Moby is stunningly gorgeous, magnificent, impressive, goofy, playful, snuggly... and heartbreakingly lonely.

This sweet, gentle guy was MADE to be around humans - he lights up when we're near and hangs his head low when we leave.

Sadness on that large of a scale is just too much to bear.

Visiting Hours are 9am to noon, daily, including weekends & holidays.

The Mastiff, a large and powerful breed with a history dating back to ancient times, is known for its gentle and loyal nature. These dogs are devoted family companions, often forming strong bonds with their owners. Despite their imposing size, Mastiffs are typically calm and patient, making them excellent protectors and watchdogs. With a distinctive wrinkled face and a massive build, Mastiffs require proper training and socialization to thrive in various environments.
