Somewhere between the moon and the city, Moose arrived.



He was found on the South Side of Chicago, searching through garbage just to survive. The kind of beginning that leaves marks you can see, and ones you can’t. But Moose didn’t let it take his softness.



Moose is a different kind of being.



He’s a moon man. A quiet, steady soul who moves through the world with intention. The kind of dog who doesn’t rush, doesn’t demand, doesn’t overwhelm. He arrives when he does, the room feels calmer, safer, more whole.



In his foster home, Moose has shown us exactly who he is. Gentle with children. Kind with strangers. Easy with other dogs. He’s the type who just fits, like he’s always belonged there. Handsome in that understated, undeniable way. Soulful in a way that makes you pause.



If you watch closely, you might notice something magical: at the end of the day, when Moose settles in, it feels like the stars rise just a little higher. Maybe he’s been placing them back into the sky all along.



Moose is not complicated.

A home.

Applications *cannot* be submitted through Petfinder. We *do not* respond to inquiries submitted through Petfinder, only applications submitted directly through our website.
